But there’s been one thing that a few people have been complaining about, and unfortunately for Respawn it’s a fairly major issue: the matter of matchmaking. Some players were complaining of teams that were so mismatched they’d pit incomplete teams of players with single-digit levels against full, six-player teams of those who had “regenerated” Prestiged, for Call of Duty vets several times. Now, level in Titanfall is more a measure of how much you’ve played rather than actually how skilled you are, but it still doesn’t inspire much confidence in the “matchmaking” routines if it considers that to be a good matchup, particularly with lop-sided teams.
